This is of
's character Ghariki and my character Jawara. It's supposed to take place right after the take over of the Flatlands Pride, but I wasn't sure whether Ghariki started taking over the prides as an adolescent (meaning right after taking over after his father's passing) or if he started later as an adult. Decided to make them adults since, well, I already drew them as adults and then got the idea of having it take place during the take over after I finished coloring them. x3
Anyways- Jawara had to kill many of the young cubs that were in the area at the time of the attack, as ordered by Ghariki. Because he followed his orders and has stayed loyal to him since cubhood (though Jawara hasn't had much of a choice), Ghar gives Jawara a position as an overseer of the slaves.

;--; I love this, Kay! You really got Ghariki spot-on, and I love Jawa's expression - he looks conflicted, as if he doesn't want to look Ghar' in the eye after what he's done. I love how soft the lines look, too, you do a nice job of semi-realism with their bodies/paws especially.
And sorry I didn't reply right away, I'm struggling to catch up with messages the last few days with everything going on (almost done, whew).
Thank you so much again. <3 I'll have to draw them sometime soon in-between commissions/prizes, I love Jawara's design, and I feel so bad for him. I think he could play some awesome roles in plots further down the line. >3
